Todd Varney
Chief Development Officer and Managing Partner
Company Role
Todd Varney joined NexCore Group in 2013 to help grow the company’s national platform of development, ownership and management of healthcare real estate. Todd joins the company with more than 27 years of experience in structuring, negotiating and managing healthcare developments nationally. In his role as Managing Partner - Chief Development Officer, Todd Varney assures the implementation and overall success of each project. He leads the NexCore team in coordinating all phases of the development process including transaction structuring, strategy, design and construction team selection leasing and sales/marketing.
Experience
With over 27 years of experience in real estate development, Todd is highly qualified to implement NexCore’s vision. He has developed and/or managed projects ranging in size from 28,000 to 350,000 square feet and from $8 million to $100 million. Todd brings a wide range of leasing, development and design experience that translates to successful facilities for each client.
Education
Todd’s credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (Cum Laude) from the University of Miami with a major in Finance. His studies included an emphasis on Real Estate Finance. He is currently a member of NAIOP, BOMA, the Medical Fitness Association and serves as a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for Healthcare Real Estate Insights magazine.
