Real estate has always fascinated me because it sits at the intersection of capital, relationships and the communities we serve. Over the course of my career, I have focused on building those relationships and helping investors understand how their capital translates into lasting real estate investments.

As Senior Vice President of Investor Relations and Equity Capital Markets at NexCore Group, I work with institutional investors and private capital partners to support the firm’s equity capital formation efforts and foster NexCore’s relationships with capital partners.

I am particularly excited about our focus in healthcare real estate because it brings together many of the elements that first drew me to the industry: operationally intensive real estate, strong demographic fundamentals and the opportunity to improve everyday experiences for people and communities. NexCore’s approach – developing ambulatory outpatient facilities and a multi-brand continuum of care for seniors – creates more options to meet people where they are in their healthcare journey. By listening closely to health systems, operators, and communities, we align real estate solutions with real demand and help expand access to care.

Earlier in my career, I worked at Cardinal Group, a vertically integrated multifamily real estate company, where I saw firsthand the value of integrating investment strategy with operations. Bringing operators into investment decisions creates insights that would not otherwise exist and reinforced my belief that the strongest real estate platforms align capital, development and operations toward a shared objective.

My career began in tax and audit at PwC, where I worked with real estate clients including family offices and global asset management firms. Prior to joining NexCore, I served as Chief Financial Officer of a family office–backed hospitality real estate platform.

I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs, which instilled in me an appreciation for ownership, resilience and the belief that with hard work and the right partners, the possibilities are nearly limitless.

I live in Colorado with my husband, Travis and our dog Happy. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, gardening and spending time in the mountains with friends and family.
