As I’ve matured in my career, I’ve learned that real estate development is just as much about people and relationships as it is about design and construction. The most rewarding, impactful, and often most profitable developments in my career have started with a genuine personal relationship, often nurtured years in advance. People ultimately choose to work with those they know, like, and trust. I put my energy into understanding clients and their needs, building that trust, and delivering real estate solutions that truly solve their challenges.

Along with valuing relationships deeply, I am also naturally driven and tenacious. Real estate development is full of obstacles, but I’ve found that with aligned partners, drive, and a healthy dose of creativity, most challenges can be overcome and sometimes turned into opportunities. I’ve never been one to accept “no” or “can’t” as the final answer. I show up each day believing in “yes” and “can,” and I bring that mindset to every collaboration with internal teams, clients, municipalities, and capital partners.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working on a wide range of exciting and educational projects across nearly every major commercial real estate asset class. I’ve developed a particular passion for complex projects, especially those involving public-private partnerships. These opportunities tend to attract less competition, require creativity and strategic thinking, and often result in structures that reduce risk while increasing returns for stakeholders.

I’m excited to bring this background to NexCore’s already exceptional team. In my role, I will help guide the company into new pursuits and larger-scale development opportunities as the healthcare and senior living environments continue to evolve. Integrating academia, hospital systems, private practice groups, and housing into larger campus-style environments represents a major emerging opportunity, one that NexCore is uniquely positioned to lead.

Outside of work, my wife and I stay busy with our four beautiful children, who constantly remind us of what truly matters. We’re an active family who enjoys sports, cheer, water activities, and time in the mountains. And whenever we can, we love jumping on a plane to explore new destinations together.
