Headshot of Vince Cozzi

In a world of specialists, I pride myself on being a generalist with both breadth and depth of experience in real estate development transactions.

Throughout my 35+ year career, including 18 years in healthcare real estate development, I have worked for family-owned companies, private companies, and public companies across the globe. As Chief Operating Officer of NexCore, I am responsible for the company’s Real Estate Management, Human Resources, Design & Construction, Research, Marketing, and IT/Office Administration functions, focusing on building high-performing teams and implementing processes, systems, and standards to support growth and success.

Outside of the office, I am involved with several associations, including the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the National Investment Center for the Seniors Housing & Care Industry (NIC), and BOMA. I also serve on the Board of Advisors to the Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

I am deeply passionate about education and scholarship. I believe that education is the great equalizer of our society, and I spend a lot of my time away from the office working to make excellent education accessible and affordable for talented, driven students. I am a trustee and former Chairman of the Board of the Latin School of Chicago, and I am the Director and former Chairman of the Board of High Jump, an academic enrichment program for talented, low-income students in Chicago’s inner-city.
