NexCore and Rex Healthcare Set Final Beam

Rex Healthcare, a private, not-for-profit healthcare system in Raleigh, N.C., Brasfield and Gorrie, a full-service general contracting, construction management, and design/build service provider, and NexCore Group, a leading healthcare real estate developer, today will celebrate the “Topping Off” of the new 63,000 square-foot ambulatory healthcare center in Knightdale.
 
The new Rex Healthcare medical campus is located at 6602 Knightdale Boulevard, Knightdale, NC 27545 at, the corner of Interstate 540 and Highway 64, close to many fast-growing neighborhoods and high-traffic retailers.
 
A “Topping Off” celebration is an ancient construction tradition that marks when the highest structured point in the building construction has been attained. Once attained, an evergreen tree is placed on the beam to symbolize that the construction has proceeded well. In addition, an American flag is attached to the beam to represent not only patriotism but respect for the construction workers.
 
The event begins at 11:30 am.  Representatives from Rex Healthcare, Brasfield and Gorrie and NexCore Group will be available for interview and discussion. BBQ lunch will be provided.
