NexCore Group and Hunt Regional Healthcare Celebrate the Upcoming Opening of Specialty Hospital and Medical Outpatient Building in Royse City, Texas

The 70,000 SF project is Phase One of a master-planned medical community in the Northeast Dallas suburbs.

DENVER, May 22, 2025 –

NexCore Group, a leading healthcare real estate development, investment, and management company, and Hunt Regional Healthcare (“HRH”), celebrated the upcoming opening of a new specialty hospital and Medical Outpatient Building (“MOB”) in Royse City, Texas on May 20, 2025.

The two-story, 70,000 square foot building will include a comprehensive emergency room with 12 beds, inpatient care with five beds, 12 physician clinic offices, digital imaging, ambulance bay, and community room.

“Most of our (Greenville) campus has been built with tax-payer support in the past. We needed to take a step beyond that and develop this campus with other resources in mind”, stated HRH CEO Lee Boles. “Taking money out of the bank for a new campus in today’s world of healthcare finance is a big risk. Luckily, we found NexCore who was a willing partner and shared the vision of what this campus could be. It has been a great journey. We have a much more significant building than we could have visualized and done our own.”

The Hunt Regional Healthcare MOB consolidates physicians and surgeons in a single, convenient location, allowing community members to access integrated services easily. This centralization enhances patient care quality and improves physician efficiency.

Pediatric physician Dr. Jennifer Varghese is grateful for the new level of care now available for the community. “As a patient, especially with children, not having to go to multiple different stops, being able to go downstairs to get lab work, blood work, or possibly imaging and getting those results right away, is important. Then to be able to come right back upstairs, talk about the results and develop a treatment plan is amazing.”

Joining NexCore to deliver the project are architect Page Southerland Page and general contractor Hill & Wilkinson. Debt financing and primary equity are provided by ORIX.

“We’re proud to partner with Hunt Regional Healthcare to bring this specialty hospital and medical outpatient building to life,” says Jarrod Daddis, President of NexCore Group. “By expanding access to high-quality outpatient care closer to home, we’re not just developing facilities—we’re investing in the health, convenience, and economic vitality of the Hunt County community.”

The proactive development also protects the current market share of HRH, helping expand their reach in western Hunt County. The next phases of the master plan, which include inpatient bed expansion, a surgery center and additional physician offices, will further strengthen HRH’s presence in their provider area.
