I’ve always enjoyed helping people and solving problems. Working with science-focused companies allows me to do both. To me, developing life science spaces goes beyond the development, transactions, and deals. It’s truly an honor to support the scientists willing to dedicate their lives to feeding, fueling, and healing humanity.

My real estate career started in my late teens and has continued through three decades covering nearly $2 billion in market transactions. This diverse background has offered me a wealth of experience repositioning dilapidated, functionally obsolete, or underperforming assets into newly realized facilities across the country.  I have also been a serial entrepreneur for most of my professional career having started and grown five startup companies. Being a founder myself has helped me develop expertise in building communities that help other entrepreneurs realize their vision.

As Executive Vice President of Life Sciences at NexCore Group, I work with a team of highly skilled professionals to provide state-of-the-art labs, offices, manufacturing facilities, and other supporting facilities and infrastructure to the science and technology industries.

I pride myself on being an approachable, creative, and encouraging leader who believes in working hard to find the right solutions for my clients and partners. My passion for my work and desire to find fun in the process enable me to cultivate unique collaborations that drive results and foster innovation. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate Finance from the University of Southern California, as well as a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University in New York. I’ve also been a licensed California Real Estate Broker since 1994, and I hold Series 22 and Series 63 securities licenses.

As a native Southern Californian, I grew up in the water and love to spend my free time surfing and sailing. I’ve also been an avid skier most of my life and if I’m not on the Pacific Ocean or in the office you’ll likely find me at Mammoth Mountain!

I love to read and two quotes that have guided me along my career are “Be bold and mighty forces will come to your aid.” – Basil King and “Change is hard at first, messy in the middle, and gorgeous at the end.” – Robin Sharma. Sound advice and guidance for budding entrepreneurs, science founders, and change-makers!
