Eric Roark

Several years ago I was working on a renovation project for an apartment complex. One of the resident mothers stopped to thank me for making the community a better and safer place for her kids. That helps me keep my perspective regarding design and construction, and it is why we do what we do at NexCore.

I graduated from Colorado State University with both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Construction Management, after which I began my career in construction. Now, as the Executive VP of Design and Construction, I hold more than 30+ years of experience in construction management and 13 years of experience in healthcare and seniors housing real estate. My areas of expertise range from staff leadership and development to construction and design, budget management, and more.

As a 4th generation Colorado Native, I was raised to understand the importance of hard work and community. I have always been in construction, and I love the daily challenges that come with the job. I also love working with all of the hard-working people who show up each day to face things head-on and build the structures where we work and live. 

Outside of work, I enjoy restoring and renovating houses, cars, boats, and furniture. I also enjoy being outdoors, whether it’s fixing the fence, fishing, or camping with my family and friends.
