Phill Barklow

From my days playing college basketball through the 30-plus years in Senior Living two things have always been my passion: building teams and building community. Today, I get to put both into practice to help build the very best Senior Living communities for the residents, families, and team members we serve.

As President of Experience Senior Living, part of NexCore Group, I am privileged to head up an amazing team that lead and guide our company and our numerous communities throughout the country. That excellence is passed down to every resident that calls one of our communities “home”.

Throughout my career, I have worked extensively on Operations, New Development, and Acquisitions. Through these experiences, I have developed more than $1 billion in assets while gaining deep expertise in design, marketing and branding, talent management, and team building. 

Nearly everything I have learned about business, family or personal values has been taught to me from an older adult that is living in one of my communities. It has been a lifelong educational journey that I have always tried to pay forward. That is why I want to build communities that anyone in the world would love to live in, and I think we are delivering on that goal.

Outside of work I love golf and collecting wine, but my true passion falls to my wife and our two kids. My children are so loving, kind and passionate. They are what drives me to show them that anything is possible if you work hard.
