Buck Creek Medical Plaza provides affordable, convenient, and high-quality care at an accessible location, improving healthcare delivery in Eagle County. Healthcare services in the Vail Valley have historically been provided in scattered, hospital-centric locations. The Medical Plaza has been designed to accommodate a full range of outpatient services, including primary and specialty physician care, diagnostic imaging, and emergency care so that patients can enjoy more convenient and coordinated care in a one-stop-shop facility.

NexCore Group provided a highly expedited process for the Buck Creek Medical Plaza in Avon, Colorado. Within a short 7-month window, NexCore:

  • Purchased land from a governmental entity.
  • Completed a land swap with an adjacent neighbor.
  • Completed entitlements.
  • Executed leases with Centura Health and a large physician practice.
  • Designed the building and broke ground.

The deal documents were fully negotiated and executed within 45 days of being presented to Centura Health.

Situated just off I-70 at the Avon exit (167), the project is visible from all lanes of the interstate. Along with its beautiful location and dramatic views of Beaver Creek and Bachelor Gulch, the site provides significant strategic advantages. Buck Creek has harnessed one of the few available sites large enough to develop a suitably sized outpatient facility for providing patient-focused and operationally efficient care in the Vail Valley.
