NexCore Starts Work with NorthBay Healthcare

A need to free up existing space on its Vacaville campus was the catalyst for the new NorthBay Healthcare Administrative Services & Conference Center, developed by NexCore Group and owned by a NexCore affiliate. A groundbreaking ceremony will be held for the new building April 5.
 
The new facility, the first on a new satellite campus located at 4500 Business Center Drive in Fairfield, will serve as the corporate headquarters for NorthBay Healthcare, and will create more than 69,000 square feet of administrative office space. The construction of this facility makes it possible for NorthBay to consolidate and improve the efficiency of its management and administrative functions and establish a presence in the Fairfield community. An attached one-story conference center is included in the design. It will be used by hospital administration and support services and will also be available to private and community groups.

NexCore provided the master planning for the campus and is providing development, program management, design management, and move-in coordination for the project. This facility, scheduled for completion in early 2008, is the first in a long-term real estate collaboration between NexCore and NorthBay Healthcare Group. Future plans for the satellite campus include the development of a 40,000 square foot medical office building and an 80,000 square foot hospital.
