Project Summary
Northwest Medical Center (NWMC) selected NexCore to develop and expedite the delivery of an on-campus medical office building to house several primary and specialty care physicians next to NWMC’s new hospital to provide a full spectrum of services to the growing area of Tucson.
NexCore added value by taking on the speculative risk to increase the size of the building by approximately 20% in order to capture more independent physicians in the market to broaden services offered on campus and drive revenue for Northwest Healthcare. Based on strong interest from prospective tenants, NexCore’s in-house leasing professionals anticipate the building to be fully leased upon opening.
The medical office building broke ground in December of 2020 and is expected to open to the public, along with the hospital, in early 2022.
