Project Summary
Banner Health selected NexCore Group through a competitive RFP process to develop a 128,000-square-foot, three-story Medical Office Building in Glendale, Arizona. The new Banner Health Center is centrally located near the Agua Fria Loop 101 and 75th Avenue and consolidates several services into one facility, making consumer convenience, care, and comprehensive services easy to access.
The facility offers comprehensive clinical services, including family medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics, general surgery, dermatology, gastroenterology, cardiology, endocrinology, internal medicine, and OB/GYN, as well as lab, pharmacy, and imaging services.
The high-performance project design fosters cooperation among providers by utilizing a universal clinical POD concept with an On/Off stage care setting to improve efficiencies and provider performance as well as the patient experience. Additionally, the site includes a walking trail and outdoor patios to support staff and patient wellness.
NexCore’s scope of work included strategic facility and operational planning, design, development, construction, project management, and financing. The facility broke ground in January 2020, with a grand opening in May 2021.
