Project Summary
North Cypress Land Ventures POB, LTD. is a joint-venture partnership between NexCore Group and strategic physician partners (“Partnership”). The joint venture was formed to develop a new state-of-the-art Medical Office Building (“MOB”) on the HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress hospital campus. The campus is located in Cypress, Texas – a growing community in the northwest corridor of Houston. NexCore is serving as the Partnership’s full-service developer and is co-investing alongside physician investors.
The Partnership has leased space to independent physicians and groups who are also investors in the MOB. The project will feature an Ambulatory Surgery Center that will be a joint venture between HCA and surgeons. Remarkable synergies exist between the physician partners, physician tenants, and NexCore, which will lead to a successful operational model, an optimized patient and provider experience, and lead to the growth of an already thriving and well-established hospital campus.
The physician investors have a proven track record for both hospital and medical office development. These same physicians led the development of the North Cypress Medical Center Hospital that was sold to HCA in 2018 and is considered one of the most successful physician-led hospitals in the United States.
The project is a strategic opportunity for the physicians to continue to practice on the campus of HCA North Cypress in a new state-of-the-art medical office building while incorporating modern, efficient design, and they will experience high-quality property management services provided by NexCore Group. The new on-site ASC will provide patient, and provider convenience and quality of care as patients and physicians alike do not have to travel elsewhere for outpatient surgery. Additionally, there are sixteen independent tenant practices that bring a robust mix of specialties to the new building. Practice focuses include Internal Medicine, Urology, General Surgery, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Pulmonology, Bariatric Surgery, Cardiology, Orthopedics/Physical Therapy, Psychiatry, and Family Practice.
